Smart Life

Welcome to The Smart Life!

We find ourselves in the 21st century with very advanced technology and cutting edge research, but how smart do we actually live our lives today? – I believe in a simpler and smarter life by adapting to new technology, smart innovations and new research.

This site contains tips for a healthy, productive and Smart Life. It will help you become more financially independent, teach you some time saving activities and help you towards a better health. Did you for example know that flossing your teeth might be one of the most important things for a long and healthy life? Read more about this under the Smart Health section. I use a robot vacuum to simplify my cleaning at home, read about more about that under the Smart Home section. Or why not just realizing the benefits just from having an electrical tooth brush, which you can read under the Smart Health section.

Keep good habits –

A success factor for a Smart Life is to develop and keep good habits, this might also be crucial for achieving your long term goals. A thoughtful quote for a Smart Life comes from Sephen R. Covey in his book 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People:

“Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.”

A common belief is that it take 21 days to change an old habit or form a new one. However, a British study shows the average figure is actually 66 days, worst case scenario it could take up to 255 days. So be prepared to work hard when transforming your life with good habits. It will take over two months if you are aiming to change a habit with daily repetitions, but the payoff will be life changing! And don’t worry if you skip a single day or two. In the end, it will not affect your ability to achieve your long term goal.
